Dual Brownfield Assessment Grant Award to City of Hickory
The purpose of the City's grant-funded activities is to help attract desired businesses and developers to bring potentially contaminated properties in the City to new and productive use. The program will include multiple opportunities for the community to provide suggestions and input into the process. To date, multipe Phase I assessments have been conducted and Phase II planning is underway. The City's robust community outreach program is central to the success of their program. The City selected Hart & Hickman as the most qualified consulting firm to help execute their $400,000 US EPA Region 4 Brownfield Assessment Grant program.
