Charlotte School of Law Opens at Bryant Park Brownfield Site
The Charlotte School of Law opened its doors to students in August 2008 at their newly constructed facility at Bryant Park, situated on a gateway corridor to uptown Charlotte. Developer Merrifield Partners completed the first phase of Brownfield redevelopment at the Bryant Park mixed-use development project in time for the momentous opening. The multi-parcel 27-acre Brownfield project site is located at the gateway to an economically depressed corridor. Hart & Hickman worked closely with Merrifield Partners and the State to assess and remediate complex environmental issues resulting from more than 60 years of industrial manufacturing operations.
