$400,000 Brownfield Grant Award for City of Hickory
The City of Hickory has selected Hart & Hickman, PC as the most qualified consulting firm to help execute two US EPA Region 4 Brownfield Assessment Grants. The purpose of the City's grant-funded activities is to help attract desired businesses and developers to bring potentially contaminated properties in the City to new and productive use. The program will include multiple opportunities for the community to provide suggestions and input into the process. Specific activities include conducting environmental assessments at candidate properties, evaluating potential environmental risks, and preparing conceptual redevelopment materials.
