City of Wadley Purchases Edwards Property

After Phase II Site Assessment results were compiled, regulatory notification was completed, as required by the state.  EPD responded, indicating that no further environmental assessment work would be required.  Once these lettters were recieved, the City determined they could purchase the property.  The City hopes to either develop the themselves for municipal use, or find a developer who will revitalize the property with a commercial enterprise.
