Brownfield Program

Sullivan County

The goal of the Sullivan County Brownfield Program is to promote under-utilized property redevelopment within Sullivan County. Brownfield property redevelopment can increase the County's tax base, create jobs, and improve the quality of life for the area residents.

The Sullivan County Brownfield Program requires a working partnership between the cities, towns, and communities; regional economic development agencies (First Tennesse Development District and Sullivan Partnership NETWORKS); local residents, businesses, property owners, and developers; EPA and State of Tennessee environmental regulators; and Hart & Hickman’s environmental scientists and engineers.

We encourage you to review the Community Outreach portion of this website to learn more about how you can become involved in Sullivan County's Brownfield efforts.
