Brownfield Open House Scheduled

A Brownfield Open House has been scheduled for November 9, 2010 in the new ECO River Center facility located at 393 Riverside Parkway in Ridge Ferry Park. Please come by after work to take a look around the Eco Center as early as 5:00 if you’d like, and the meeting will begin at 6:00. You will hear about the progress of the City’s Brownfield Assessment Grant and discuss several properties that have been assessed or are currently undergoing assessment activities. Community members can also find out how to stay involved in the program. The City’s consultants, Hart & Hickman will be available for any technical questions. The City also recently applied for additional EPA assessment grant funding and wants to keep the community involved. A copy of the grant application will be available for review. Please join us to hear about the progress of the grant, learn about the new grant application, or ask any questions you may have about Brownfields.
