City Submits QMP and QAPP

The City of Rome submitted their Quality Management Plan and Generic Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) to EPA and Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD). These documents are required by EPA and will help the City and its contractors maintain a program which provides quality data. The Quality Management Program identifies the chain of command and project responsibilities.  The Generic QAPP, recently developed by Region 4 EPA, provides guidance on how and why samples should be collected at prospective sites.  Each site the City assesses will have a Site Specific QAPP Addendum to supplement this Generic QAPP.
