Beginning Phase I Assessments
December 04, 2009The City of Rome will be beginning Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on five selected properties beginning in mid-December. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is a report which documents the historical operations at a property and determines if any of those historical operations may have caused contamination of the soils and ground water. The properties which have been selected are predominately privately owned properties.
