The City of Rocky Mount was awarded a Brownfield Assessment Grant and a Cleanup Grant for their Douglas Block Revitalization Program in 2005 and another Assessment Grant in 2008. The program is being managed by the City's Community Development Administrator Vanessa McCleary.
