The goal of Raleigh's Brownfield Program is to put underutilized properties back into service, enhance quality of life for the community, generate jobs, and increase private investment within the City.

The City of Raleigh was awarded $400,000 in EPA Brownfield Grants for assessment of petroleum and hazardous substance Brownfield properties. The City was also awarded a $1,000,000 Revolving Loan Fund Grant to fund Brownfield cleanup efforts in the City.  See City's website at www.raleigh-nc.org.
