City Awarded $700,000 to Develop Railway Station

The City of Lexington was awarded a $700,000 grant in order to help plan and develop a railway station for the region.  The station is to be located within the Depot District and adjacent to the former Lexington Home Brands Brownfields Site.  Performing the Brownfields assessment at the Lexington Home Brands site helped the City to win this grant.
