City of

Millen Brownfields

The goal of the Brownfield program is to promote redevelopment within the City of Millen.  Brownfield development can increase the City's tax base, create jobs, and improve the quality of life for the City's residents.

The City’s Brownfield Assessment Program requires a working partnership between the City's staff; the Central Savannah River Area Regional Developent Center; local residents, businesses, property owners, and developers; EPA and State of Georgia environmental regulators; and Hart & Hickman’s environmental scientists and engineers.

We encourage you to review the Community Outreach portion of this website to learn more about how you can become involved in the City’s Brownfield efforts.
