May 25, 2011A community meeting to discuss the progress of the EPA-Funded Cleanup Grant will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Millen City Hall.
City of Millen Awarded Cleanup Funding for Historic Aycock Corner (Former SOC Station)
April 30, 2010The City of Millen was awarded $200,000 for the environmental cleanup of Historic Aycock Corner (Former SOC Station). Previous site environmental investigations indicate that petroleum and lead-impacted soils need to be remediated.
City Applies for EPA Cleanup Funds
October 19, 2009The City submitted a proposal for EPA Cleanup Grant funds. These funds would be used for the remediation of Aycock Corner.
