The City of Hickory Brownfield Assessment Grant Ended September 30, 2010

Final closure documents are currently being prepared for submittal to the USEPA. The City successfully completed numerous environmental assessments, and redevelopment planning for several properties.  One of the assessed properties was accepted into the North Carolina Brownfields Program and the City anticipates that a second will be accepted into the program in the near future.
