The site was most recently operated by Safety Disposal Systems of South Carolina, Inc. as a medical and specialized waste incinerator. The incinerator ceased operation in 2002. The property consists of approximately 4.56-acres of recently cleared land, including an existing detention pond, and is zoned basic industrial. The property is easily accessible by Highway 601.
