The goal of the FTDD Brownfield Program is to promote redevelopment within the eight-county Northeast Tennessee region it serves. Brownfield property redevelopment can increase the region's tax base, create jobs, and improve the quality of life for the area residents.
FTDD's Brownfield Program requires a working partnership between the FTDD staff; the area counties, cities, towns, and communities; local residents, businesses, property owners, and developers; EPA and State of Tennessee environmental regulators; and Hart & Hickman’s environmental scientists and engineers.
