The goal of the Catawba Regional COG's Brownfield Program is to put underutilized properties back into service, enhance quality of life for the community, generate jobs, and increase private investment within their target areas. 

The Catawba Regional Council of Governments was awarded a $200,000 Brownfield Assessment Grant from EPA Region 4.  The program is being managed by Robert Moody whio is the COG's Brownfield Redevelopment Program Manager.
