Under the assessment grant, a Phase I assessment has been conducted on the former La-Lite Block Corporation site in Lake City, TN.  The property has been recently used for auto salvage operations.  The assessment identified numerous Recognized Environmental Concerns related to the auto salvage activities.

A work plan (i.e. Quality Assurance Project Plan) for a Phase II assessment of the site is currently being developed to address the investigation of on-site environment conditions for EPA Region 4 approval.
