The goal of Anderson County's Brownfield Program is to put underutilized properties back into service, enhance quality of life for the community, generate jobs, and increase private investment within the County.

Anderson County Tennessee was awarded a $200,000 Brownfield Assessment Grant from EPA Region 4 in 2008.   Planning is underway by the County's Environmental Coordinator Brian Jenks.
